Israel has an adequacy decision from the European Commission, which means personal data may be transferred there under the same protection as within the EU.
What we collect, and why
- Contact form
- Your name, email address, company if you fill it in, and your message. We use it to answer you. The message is emailed to us through Resend and a copy is kept for one year so an email failure cannot lose it.
- Newsletter
- Your email address, and only if you enter it yourself. It goes to Kit, the platform we send the newsletter with. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from the list.
- Statistics
- Google Analytics, and only if you allow statistics in the cookie banner. It tells us which episodes and articles are read. If you refuse, it is not loaded at all.
- Visitor counts
- Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views without cookies and without following you across sites. Because it cannot recognise you, it needs no consent.
- Your cookie choice
- We record that a choice was made, what it was, on which page, and your IP address with the last part removed so it cannot be traced to you. This is the proof the law requires that consent was given. Kept for one year, then deleted automatically.
Video
Episodes play through Bunny Stream. The player only loads when you press play, so that press is your consent for that one video. The still image you see before pressing does come from Bunny's network, which means your IP address reaches them on every page with a thumbnail.
Two places embed a player from Wistia or Bunny directly in the page. Those stay closed until you allow embedded video, either in the banner or with the button shown in their place.

- Hosting and protection of this site. Sees every request.
- Resend
- Sends contact form messages to us.
- Kit
- Sends the newsletter.
- Analytics, only after consent.
- Bunny Stream
- Video hosting and the still images.
- Wistia
- Two embedded players, only after consent.
How long we keep things
Contact messages: one year in our own storage. The email itself stays in our mailbox as normal business correspondence.
Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
Cookie choice: six months in your browser, after which we ask again. The record of the choice: one year.
Your rights
You can ask to see what we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to object to its use. Write to [email protected] and you will hear back within a month.
You can change or withdraw your cookie choice at any time by clearing this site's cookies in your browser, which brings the banner back.
If you think we handle your data badly, you may complain to your national data protection authority. In the Netherlands that is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
