How the score works

  • Every answer scores 0 to 3 points. Each theme is a percentage of its maximum, so a theme with three questions does not outweigh one with two. Your total is the average of the four themes.
  • “Don't know” scores 0. For revenue share and staff turnover, not knowing the number is itself the gap.
  • The advice comes from what hotel leaders said on the podcast, each with their name and the minute they said it. See the answers and the checklists for more.
  • Your answers are stored without your name or email address, and the totals feed our yearly report on how hotels are changing. You can opt out under your result.
