VidantaWorld, the luxury tourism and entertainment platform of Grupo Vidanta, presented its BON (Beauty of Nature) theme park to the travel trade at World Travel Market London 2026. The company describes BON as the world's first luxury theme park.
BON is located at VidantaWorld Vallarta in Nuevo Nayarit, Mexico, and represents an investment of approximately USD 1.5 billion, according to the release. A phased Private Soft Opening began on October 24, open only to VidantaWorld guests, who can buy tickets during their stay. The park currently runs from 5 p.m., Tuesday to Saturday, with deliberately limited capacity. The public opening is planned for 2027.
Rather than licensed franchises, the park is built around original stories and characters across seven themed worlds inspired by Mexican landscapes and mythology. Developed with eight attraction manufacturers, the finished park will have more than 20 attractions plus restaurants, lounges and boutiques. A resident Cirque du Soleil production, LUDÕ, with more than 40 artists, runs in a purpose-built theatre inside the park and is booked separately.
"With BON we wanted to propose something different: more space, more time, more service and the freedom to experience everything at your own pace," said Iván Chávez, Executive Vice President of Grupo Vidanta.
The park sits within a wider VidantaWorld portfolio of more than 13 luxury hospitality brands, including The Estates and Grand Luxxe, as well as seven golf courses and a second Cirque du Soleil show, JOYÀ, staged at VidantaWorld Riviera Maya since 2014. VidantaWorld said the public phase will let travel advisors and tour operators sell the destination to international visitors.
