Hilton has set out the hotels it plans to open in 2027, a slate that includes brand debuts in more than 30 countries, the company said in a release on 29 October 2026.
Among the headline projects is NoMad Detroit, inside the Michigan Central Station in the Corktown neighbourhood. Hilton said it will be its first luxury lifestyle hotel in the United States. The 176-room property will take parts of the station's historic base and the top five floors of its 15-storey tower, with more than 4,500 square feet of meeting and event space. It is anticipated for early spring 2027.
Other brand entries named by Hilton include Waldorf Astoria in Tokyo and Sydney, the first Signia Hilton in Asia Pacific, Conrad Phu Quoc as Hilton's first luxury brand in Vietnam, Homewood Suites by Hilton in Brazil, Tapestry Collection by Hilton in the Maldives, Curio Collection by Hilton in Malaysia, and the Australian debuts of LXR Hotels & Resorts and Motto by Hilton.
In the Americas, the list includes the 365-room Canopy New York City 34th Street, the brand's first in the city, and the 200-room Maison Dupuy New Orleans French Quarter, Curio Collection by Hilton, which Hilton described as its first hotel firmly within the French Quarter. Several adaptive reuse projects feature, such as the 116-room Motto by Hilton Indianapolis Downtown in the historic King Cole Building. Hilton also pointed to extended-stay additions in Hawaii and Prince Edward Island and beachfront resorts from Miami Beach to Mykonos.
The company cited its 2027 trends report, which found that 76% of travellers agree that having a trip planned gives them a purpose to work toward.
