Wyndham Rewards adds nearly 800 vacation homes with Homes & Havens launch

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has launched Homes & Havens, a vacation rental collection inside its Wyndham Rewards loyalty programme that lets its approximately 129 million enrolled members earn and redeem points at professionally managed homes and villas, the company said on 29 October 2026.

The platform starts with nearly 800 vacation homes and villas across the U.S., the Caribbean, Mexico and Europe. According to the release, hundreds more accommodations, including cabins, yurts and tiny homes, are expected to be added in the coming months. Inventory comes through newly formed relationships with independent property management and hospitality partners such as Brightwild, Simpson Travel, StayTerra and Thousand Trails.

Members earn 5 points per U.S. dollar spent on qualified bookings, and qualified nights count toward Member Level status. Redemptions start at 15,000 points per bedroom per night, with further tiers at 30,000 and 45,000 points depending on the nightly rate per bedroom, and a 5,000-point tier is expected as the collection grows. Redemptions must be booked through Member Services at least 60 days ahead and cover the base rate only, excluding taxes, cleaning fees and other mandatory charges. Not all properties will qualify, and some villas require a reservation request followed by contact from a specialist.

Wyndham cited Phocuswright research showing that about 30% of U.S. leisure travelers stayed in a short-term rental on their most recent trip. Michael Shiwdin, GVP Integrated Marketing, Loyalty and Digital, said the launch is "one more step in creating a fully immersive travel rewards experience." Wyndham operates around 8,500 hotels in approximately 100 countries across 25 brands.
