Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has struck a strategic partnership with HotelREZ Hotels & Resorts that will bring more than 40 independent luxury hotels into its Registry Collection Hotels brand by early next year, the company said on 2 November 2026. More properties are expected to follow, subject to brand fit, owner participation and onboarding requirements.

The hotels come from Elegant Hotels of the World, the HotelREZ soft brand of more than 300 independent, design-led luxury properties. Many are small boutiques averaging 20 to 50 rooms. They will stay Elegant members while plugging into Registry Collection's sales, marketing and distribution channels and Wyndham Rewards, which has approximately 129 million enrolled members. Owners retain full control of ownership, operations and brand identity, according to the release.

Among the first to join are Rosselli AX Privilege in Valletta, Malta; The TownHouse Mykonos in Greece; Galgorm Resort near Belfast and Roe Valley Resort near Derry/Londonderry in Northern Ireland; TreeHouse Villas Koh Yao in Thailand; and Cinco Quintas Hotel Boutique in Cartagena, Colombia. Registry Collection currently has more than 30 hotels across nine countries.

The two companies are also launching a second, more flexible model later this year for properties in HotelREZ's Best Loved Hotels collection of upscale independents. These hotels will get selective access to Wyndham's technology stack, including AI tools such as Wyndham Connect and Wyndham AI Concierge, plus its third-party distribution platform.

"At its heart, our partnership with Wyndham is about unlocking commercial opportunities for our member hotels," said Mark Lewis, Group CEO of HotelREZ. Wyndham chief commercial officer Scott Strickland said members want their points to take them to places "that feel as special as the moments they're celebrating."
