BWH Hotels has announced a company-wide transformation that brings more than 4,000 hotels across 18 brands in 100 countries under a single master brand, WorldHotels, and one loyalty programme, according to a release issued from Phoenix on 27 October 2026.

The company said the move is based on consumer research and guest feedback showing that many travellers know only part of its portfolio, which spans luxury, boutique, upscale, extended-stay and economy hotels. Individual property identities, signage and flags will stay unchanged, while the WorldHotels platform is meant to improve portfolio discovery, strengthen direct guest relationships and raise owners' visibility. President and CEO Larry Cuculic said the change lets hoteliers compete more effectively globally while keeping their independence.

At the centre is WorldHotels Rewards, which combines Best Western Rewards and the existing WorldHotels Rewards, with 70 million members in total. It launches on 5 January 2027 with three simplified tiers, while keeping status matching, member rates and non-expiring points. Members keep the value of their points. Further details are due on 16 November 2026.

WorldHotels said it has invested significantly in a new website and redesigned mobile app, built around a proprietary discovery platform informed by more than 10,000 hours of conversations with hotel teams worldwide.

Upper upscale and luxury hotels will be grouped into WorldHotels Collection, a platform for independent properties with six categories: Luxury, Elite, Distinctive, Crafted, Backdrop and Residences. Collection president Ron Pohl said it gives owners access to the commercial, technology and demand-generation tools of a large hotel company. Other brands in the programme include Best Western Premier, Best Western Plus, GLō, Aiden, SureStay Hotels and Executive Residency.
